Ira and Abby Pollock are twin siblings who were amateur dancesport competitors in the International Standard Division from 2003 to 2011. In that time, they traveled extensively representing the United States in many competitions including the Celtic Classic, the Blackpool Dance Festival, and the Australian Dancesport Championships. They trained with the best ballroom coaches in the world and now enjoy passing the knowledge and technique they have acquired on to their students.
In their home state of Utah, Ira and Abby were the 5-time BYU Dancesport Champions. They have been finalists at the NDCA Nationals and at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball. In Under 21 Ballroom at the 2008 Blackpool Dance Festival, the largest dancesport event in the world, they were the highest ranked North American couple.
Abby is now teaching in San Diego and studying Fashion Design at Mesa College. Ira is teaching in Utah and on the west coast.
